Morning in America

I remember in the early 1980's a new President who had a sanguine perspective on this great nation. The dark clouds of inflation, stagflation, melancholy, and confiscatory tax laws had strangled the hope of Americans. This new President declared America's best days are ahead of her; not behind her: and he was right!

Since that time, we proved that his tax ideas were valid, his strength and courage defeated our greatest foe, and a new generation of freedom loving Americans became the norm; much to the dismay of the nay-Sayers, the media, and those who felt guilty for being born as an American.

Those days have come and gone once again. In the wake of the earliest failed Presidency this country has ever seen, Americans are remembering their roots, their heritage, their Constitution. It was a short night. The sun glows on the horizon and it is once again "Morning in America"
